The Birth of a Dahlia
Not the whole story of its birth, but fragments of becoming: the first unfolding, a flicker of colour, the fullness of its brightest bloom, and the gentle fading that follows.
Each stage carries its own quiet beauty. The flower slowly reveals itself, petal by petal, before time begins to soften its shape and draw its colours inward.
Yet even as one dahlia fades, another bud is preparing to open.
Its death is not an ending, but part of a continuing cycle. Beneath the soil, life still pulses through the roots, unseen, persistent, and already moving towards another beginning.
